1. Terms of Service

Welcome to Orbit-Chat (available via our Android application and orbit-chat.net). By accessing, registering, or using Orbit-Chat, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use Orbit-Chat.

1.1 Eligibility & Strict Minimum Age Policy (13+)

1.2 Account Registration & Security

• You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information, including a valid Date of Birth for age verification.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
• You must notify us promptly at support@orbit-chat.net if you detect any unauthorized access to your account.

1.3 Acceptable Use & Community Guidelines

Orbit-Chat provides proximity-based discovery, real-time messaging, and media sharing. You agree NOT to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, defame, or impersonate other users.
• Transmit spam, unauthorized commercial solicitations, or malicious scripts.
• Distribute sexually explicit, illegal, hateful, violent, or predatory content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or compromise the security architecture of the Orbit-Chat service.

1.4 End-to-End Encryption (E2EE)

Orbit-Chat employs client-side authenticated AES-256-GCM encryption for peer-to-peer communications. While Orbit-Chat cannot decrypt your private messages or files, you remain solely responsible for any content you transmit to other users.

1.5 Service Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or ban accounts that breach these Terms or compromise the safety of our user community.

2. Privacy Policy

Your privacy and confidentiality are paramount at Orbit-Chat. This Privacy Policy outlines our data handling practices for users of the Orbit-Chat application and orbit-chat.net.

2.1 Information We Collect

• Account Credentials: Name, email address, password hash, and Date of Birth (used strictly to verify that you are at least 13 years old).
• Foreground GPS Location: When granted permission, Orbit-Chat accesses your device's approximate and precise GPS coordinates only while the app is actively in use to calculate relative distances to nearby members and display the Radar discovery map. Orbit-Chat does NOT track or collect background location when the app is closed.
• Photos & Files: When you choose to share media, attachments are selected via the zero-permission Android Photo Picker or system file selector.

2.2 Zero-Knowledge End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) Guarantee

2.3 Third-Party Services & Infrastructure

Orbit-Chat relies on Google Cloud Firebase (Authentication & Cloud Firestore) for secure user sessions and real-time data sync. All network data is transmitted over encrypted TLS 1.3 / HTTPS channels.

2.4 Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your private location coordinates or messages with third-party advertisers.

3. Account & Data Deletion (Google Play Compliance)

In accordance with Google Play's User Data & Account Deletion policies, you have complete authority to delete your account and associated personal data at any time.

3.1 In-App Deletion Method

You can permanently delete your account directly inside the app:

1. Open the Orbit-Chat application.
2. Navigate to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Account Settings > Delete Account.
4. Confirm your decision. Your profile information, authentication records, and active conversation links will be immediately erased.

3.2 Web-Based Deletion Request

If you have uninstalled the app or lost access to your device, you can request manual account and data deletion online by contacting us from your registered account email:
